Before Fame
He began playing soccer and handball at an early age. In 2007, he saw the first stage of the year's Danmark Rundt in Thisted and subsequently enrolled in a local cycling club.

He has gained over 650,000 followers on his Instagram where he posts pictures of his life and family. He initially struggled in his first races as a senior cyclist, but began to find success in 2015 and 2016.
